Quality of magnet has a direct relationship with THICKNESS. Applies to all types of magnets including metal or magnetic rubber. The thicker the magnet, the stronger it will be. It is easy to reposition & for metal magnets, it can hold a few pieces of paper. Magnetic rubber/sheets are not designed to hold many pieces of papers. In fact,they are not recommended as a paper holder on your fridge because the magnet will end up falling off.

LAMINATION. If you are planning to customize or buy a new fridge magnet, be sure to get one that is laminated, preferably a UV Nylon gloss laminate. This protects against heavy handling, spilt liquids & chemicals, allowing it to be used for many years. No lamination at all; will eventually breakdown the magnet & even smudge the printed design.

CUT. A good 2D fridge magnet have a clean crisp die-cut edges. Magnetic sheets are flat, flexible & versatile. Being thin, they can be cut with scissors into any shape, size & in combination with die-cutting processes, offer clean edges, look sharp & professional. They can be supplied with an adhesive backing & colored vinyl facing. Available in sheets & rolls: easily extruded into profiles & can be designed to order.

SAMPLES. If you opt to order a large number of customized magnets, ask for a sample if still unsure. A reputable company will send you a sample of their fridge magnet to review. Some are free, some at a small price depending on quantities & the production company. This is the full proof way to ensure you are getting the quality you are looking for. Always verify that the magnet you are receiving is the same magnet quality that you will be ordering.
